Christmas Stitching

Thank you very much for your comments on my last post, your kindness is appreciated. We still miss Sidney very much and he will always be in our hearts. All the upset meant I lost my enthusiasm for crafting for a little while but when Cross Stitcher magazine came through my letterbox I though the free kit would help me back into it again. The Christmas cards were very quick and easy, my favourite is the Robin, and I found them very therapeutic to stitch.

  1. I'm glad you found some therapy in stitching. I do so understand the hole in your heart. I can tell you really have a soft spot for dogs as do I. I like that trait in a person.

  2. Hope you feeling yourself a little bit better take lot of time sad......i like your cards.....really ,that bird is my favorite.......happy love Ria...

  3. I am sorry about your loss,I know how You feel!
Our big and beautiful cat Mister Kimalaja was hit by car last spring it was so sad!!
    I cryed so much !
I am complitely sure that our black-and white cat is waiting for us in heaven!!

Stitching helped me a lot and soon a person contact us and told that there were two tiny kittens on the bad conditions and they needed a home as soon as possible..that's how we get our two little princesses :)
I bought that same Cross Stitcher magazine and I loved those free card kits!
They look so cute, well done Shirley!!

  4. Well done, Shirley! You've done a good job and this is exactly what your soul needs. Bye, Clara.

  5. Your cards are all so beautiful, Shirley, and I'm happy that you've found some comfort through your creations. The little bird is my favorite, too!

  6. Your Christmas stitching is just beautiful! It takes time to get back into the swing of things. Losing a friend is never easy.

    Love ya lots
