Biscornu and Booties

This is my very first biscornu although making one has been on my to-do list for a while. The chart is available free at Lenkas designs here. I love the way it has turned out and am sure it won't be my last.

Also a pair of baby booties I recently crocheted for a competition. I was lucky enough to win first prize. The pattern was in Let's Get Crafting: Crochet Special 2009 and I added some vintage buttons and spotted ribbons.

  1. Thank you Shirley for letting me know you stitched my design. It looks beautiful with the little heart button :) ...and I absolutely love the cute baby booties, they are adorable :)

  2. Cute biscornu, I really like making them and like to make different ones. I have a few Valentine ones that I made a long cord for and then hang them from my dining room light. I'm going to make different season ones. Also smaller ones are cute as scissor keepers. They also make cute Christmas ornaments.

The baby booties are soooooo cute.

  3. Hi Shirley--both of your creations are so pretty! I have never made a biscornu, but I love seeing the pretty ones that others create! And the little pink booties are just darling--great job :)

  4. Sometimes I "must" create a biscornu: I've never made one and I like yours. Thank you for visiting my blog. Heppy week, Clara.
